Meet The Team
John Larsen – President
John is the Founder and President of Garden City Groundskeeping. With over 40 years of industry experience, John established the company in 2001 with a focus on reliable service, quality workmanship, and environmentally responsible practices. Under his leadership, Garden City has become a trusted partner for property managers, commercial clients, and condominium corporations across the GTA. Out of this office John enjoys shredding the slopes, cutting grass in his tractor, and puttering around the barn.
Tammy Colvin – Office and Systems Manager
Tammy is our Office and Systems Manager, bringing over 40 years of customer service experience and 9 years of dedicated service to Garden City. Known as the go-to person in the office, Tammy plays a key role in keeping operations running smoothly–always ready to step in, solve problems and support the team wherever needed. Outside of work, Tammy enjoys spending time with family and friends, and loves to travel whenever she gets the chance.
Shawn O’Leary – Account Manager
Shawn is an experienced Account Manager at Garden City Groundskeeping with over 10 years in the landscaping and snow removal industry. He began his career as a crew member and steadily worked his way up, gaining valuable hands-on experience along the way. Prior to moving into account management, he held roles as a Turf Manager and later in Operations Management and Sales. Outside of work, Shawn enjoys hiking, camping, and building custom computers. He’s also a proud dog dad to a 3-year-old pug named Kevin.
Marianne Agcaoili – Hr and Accounting
Originally from the Philippines, Marianne moved to Canada in 2021 to pursue Culinary Management before making the shift back to office life. She joined Garden City in 2023, where she handles HR and Accounting, bringing with her over 10 years of experience in the field. With a background in restaurants, her love for food continues outside of work—she enjoys cooking, baking, and sharing meals with family and friends. Marianne is also enjoying the adventure of exploring Canada and loves watching movies in her spare time.
