Summary

Garden City Groundskeeping is seeking a driven and relationship-focused Account Manager & Growth Lead to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building strong client relationships while identifying opportunities to grow accounts across landscape maintenance, snow services, and enhancements.

This is a client-facing role that combines account management and business development. You will manage a portfolio of properties, conduct site visits, prepare proposals, and maintain regular communication to ensure service quality and client satisfaction.

During the winter season, you will support snow operations coordination, working alongside the Operations Manager to help ensure timely communication and service delivery during snow events.

The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple opportunities while working closely with both clients and operations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of client accounts and act as the primary point of contact
  • Conduct regular site visits to ensure service quality and identify opportunities
  • Build strong client relationships and address issues proactively
  • Prepare proposals for maintenance, enhancements, and additional services
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities
  • Maintain consistent follow-up and manage an active sales pipeline
  • Coordinate with operations to ensure services meet expectations
  • Communicate client needs, priorities, and updates clearly
  • Support contract renewals and long-term client retention
  • Assist with snow operations coordination and client communication during winter events
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and opportunities

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of sales, account management, or related experience
  • Experience in landscape, property services, or construction is an asset
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities
  • Organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
  • Comfortable working both in the field and in an office environment
  • Valid driver’s licence and ability to travel between sites
  • Experience with CRM systems (HubSpot preferred)
  • Familiarity with LMN or similar software is an asset

Work Hours

  • Full-time hours based on operational needs. This role includes a mix of field visits and office work, with additional availability required during winter operations.
